SPECIALIST PIANO PREPARATION

All of the pianos that we supply are individually prepared by us before leaving the showroom. The preparation work we do is highly skilled and includes fine tuning, action, key and pedal regulation and voicing. Please ask about our piano preparation when you visit the showroom and we will explain and demonstrate the importance of this work and the improvement it has on the performance of the instrument.

HUPFELD

Entry level modern upright piano. Good starter piano tuned to concert pitch and with even touch throughout. As ever, price includes delivery, tuning and guarantee.

SCHIMMEL

Fabulous German upright piano in a satin mahogany cabinet. This piano has had little use and has just been released from our workshop after hammer refacing, regulation and voicing. This is a good quality, durable piano to suit intermediate and advanced piano players.

SQUIRE & LONGSON

A fabulous traditional British piano fully reconditioned. This piano has been totally restored throughout including restringing to action overhaul and polishing. A fabulous rich sounding piano in an attractive traditional cabinet. We will dismantle the piano and explain the extensive restoration to anyone interested in this piano.

YAMAHA U1

This Yamaha U1 is in excellent original condition having been through the workshop for hammer refacing and regulation. We prefer to source these instruments in the best possible original condition and ‘service’ them ourselves. We avoid instruments that require more extensive restoration work which indicates excessive use in the past. We have encountered many problems with such pianos in the past including loose centres, worn wrest planks and cracks appearing in soundboards. For more information please contact Ben.

ZENDER

This is a compact 6 octave piano suitable for early stage pianists with space limitations. It has a span of 73 notes, height of 100cm, width 114cm and depth 49cm. The cabinet is in good condition and the action is even throughout.

REID-SOHN 108 - SOLD

Good quality Korean made Reid-Sohn 108 upright in an attractive satin walnut cabinet. We sold this piano around five years ago and have tuned and maintained it since then. This piano is in excellent condition and has a powerful, full tone.

STEINWAY - SOLD

1996 model K Steinway in polished mahogany cabinet. This piano has not been heavily played and has been privately owned since new.
