The piano voices are sampled from Kawai Shigeru concert grand pianos, carefully prepared for recording by a master Shigeru technician. The KDP-110 is an entry-level compact digital piano that boasts realistic touch and motion through its Responsive Hammer Compact II keyboard action. Modelled on the Shigeru SK-EX grand piano sounds with full 88-key sampling and a powerful 40W stereo amplified and speaker system. Bluetooth connectivity provides a convenient and private playing capability.

Kawai’s CN29 model features a realistic, 88-note keyboard and sampled grand piano sounds, all within an attractive, affordable instrument. The CN29 digital piano’s Responsive Hammer III (RHIII) action replicates the distinctive touch of an acoustic grand piano and the tone of Kawai’s flagship Shigeru Kawai SK-EX full concert grand piano is sampled to create the piano voice.

A strong selection of digital piano features such as Audio connectivity and 100 different Rhythms set it apart from the CN29 model.

The ES-8 Portable Digital Piano captures the rich, expressive sound of Kawai’s SK-EX, SK-5 and EX grand pianos. The new Responsive Hammer III action recreates the distinctive touch of an acoustic grand piano, with its realistic movement and accurate triple sensor technology providing a smooth, natural and highly responsive piano playing experience. The keyboard is appropriately weighted ensuring greater stability and performance.  

Kawai Digital Piano CA-48

The CA series are premium digital pianos featuring flagship sound technology. The CA48 digital piano utilises Kawai’s latest Grand Feel 11 Compact keyboard action, which draws upon 90 years of acoustic piano craftsmanship to provide an exceptionally realistic playing experience. All 88 black and white keys are crafted entirely from long pieces of wood, with finely textured Ivory Touch key surfaces applied to assist playing control. Harmonic imaging technology is used to sample the 88 keys of a Shigeru Kawai Concert grand piano to reproduce an authentic piano voice.

The CA98 is the flagship model of the CA series. The wooden soundboard speaker system delivers an impressive sound using multi-channel sampling of a Kawai Shigeru Concert Grand Piano. Kawai partnered with Onkyo, a high quality Japanese audio manufacturer, to deliver the best possible sound reproduction. As with other models in the CA series Kawai’s latest Grand Feel 11 Compact keyboard action further enhances the playing experience . A simple touchscreen operation ensures easy navigation of the many voices and functions.
